I am a Pakistani doing my Masters in Economics from Lahore School of Economics (LSE). Born on the 2nd of April '76, I had my schooling from Crescent Model Higher Secondary School and high schooling from the same institution. After doing my graduation from Government College, Lahore (GC) I joined ICI Paints Ltd. Pakistan for six weeks in their Decorative Marketing Department. Later I also worked with Packages Ltd. Lahore with their Consumer Products Division (CPD) for four months. All this helped me gain some work experience and I not only built up confidence but also got used to an office environment.

After joining LSE for M. Sc. Economics, I have also worked with two more organizations. During my first semester break I worked with SKANS Marketing and managed all the accounts of the newly born organization on the computer --- my first experience in accounting. Simultaneously I also supervised some of the outgoing students of LSE in learning basic business software before they go out into the market. In the next break I was selected by ABN-AMRO Bank N. V. as an internee in their Consumer Banking Department. It was my first experience of a bank.

Apart from my academic and extra-curricular activities my most preferred interest is computing. After getting my first ever computer in '93 I explored the world of technology and gradually became a part of it. Not knowing what Internet was, I started exploring the best available general software and learnt the very basics of what one can do with a computer. With the passage of time I realized I had learnt a lot. But the best I can explain my knowledge of computers is... "We learn much from our success but still more from our failures" because... "Skill to do comes by doing".
